Al Ghandi Electronics was established on 17th February 1984. To commemorate the Founder’s Day and also celebrate having passed the milestone of its Silver Jubilee, a grand function was held on 17th February 2010 at the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai. The celebratory function was attended by all the staff of Al Ghandi Electronics, many of whom came along with their family members. Also invited were some associates from Al Ghandi Group companies as well as a few prominent ex-employees who have had an impact on the growth of Al Ghandi Electronics.
A welcome address was delivered by the Personnel Manager, Mr. Sunder Iyer, followed by a short retrospective presentation by the Marketing Manager, Mr. Sanjay Gokavi. Then the Managing Director of Al Ghandi Electronics, Mr. Matar Al Tayer, addressed the gathering highlighting the fact that so many of the staff have been together in the growth of the company, through the years. In fact “TOGETHER IN GROWTH” was the theme of the function and the occasion was an opportunity to felicitate long-serving personnel of Al Ghandi Electronics. In all, 35 staff members have completed between ten years and twenty five years of service in Al Ghandi Electronics! Each of them were given an award, crystal plaque and certificate, in honour of their contribution to the growth of Al Ghandi Electronics.
A gala dinner, fun & games and a raffle rounded of an evening in which all had a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable time; the vote of thanks being delivered by Mr. V. S. Balasubramani AGM-FAL. |
